Dr. J.P. Yurgel, D.C. loves being the owner and chiropractor at Hands of Hope. Everyday at the office he gets to practice his passion by adjusting clients of all ages and educating them about chiropractic. Yes, he sees clients with neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, ankle pain, etc. but chiropractic is about a whole lot more than ailments. In fact, chiropractic is about wellness and helping your body be it's best and having optimal function. Everyone can benefit from a spine that is aligned.

In 2017, Dr. JP opened Hands of Hope Chiropractic & Wellness Center. He wants to offer Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas holistic health care in a positive and welcoming atmosphere. At the center, clients can also receive other therapies such as massage, counseling and life coaching with more therapies to come as the center grows. 

Graduating from Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California, Dr. JP and is happy to offer his support to anyone interested in a future in chiropractic. He also has a bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. It was not until Dr. JP was 29 years old that he realized he wanted to become a chiropractor. For this reason, he encourages youth not to feel pressured to "figure it all out" right away but to pursue what you love and enjoy! The best advice he received was to "find a career that is like your personality." So, discover who you are, what your dreams are and go for it!
